WOKE: A conversation with Hannah L. Drake and Dwight Rhoden

Louisville based author, poet, spoken word artist and activist Hannah Drake leads a community talk to dissect the word “woke” as it relates to social justice issues within our community and beyond. Hannah will be joined onstage by Complexions Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director Dwight Rhoden for further discussion on the selection of the word as the title of the featured piece in the company’s program, and inside look how the piece was created.

Join us for an interactive post-show questions and answer where members of the company and our guest moderator will take questions from the audience and turn the tables and also ask the audience questions about the pieces performed on the evening’s program.
