Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Anne received her BFA from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and her MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Peabody's works have been included in group and solo shows including, Glasstress, The Venice Biennale, Venice Italy (2009 and 2011), KY Museum of Art and Craft, Glasstress, Millesgarden Museum, Stockholm Sweden, Site 92: Phase 2, Smack Mellon, Brooklyn, NY, New York City's "40 Years:40 Artists" shows in Union Square and Fort Greene Park and "It's Happening!" in Manhattan's Central Park. Anne has been commissioned to make permanent installations for 21c Museums in Louisville, Cincinnati and Bentonville and has done multiple permanent architectural installations for New York Architects Peter Marino, John Saladino and Deborah Berke and Associates. She has created costumes and installations for performances by Azuza Inkhand The Web. Anne Peabody currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
