Christy's Garden
A stunning oasis of urban design, functionality and possibility, Christy’s Garden in Paristown is a unique outdoor venue for community and neighborhood events. Named after the woman who envisioned the entire project, Louisville civic leader and philanthropist Christy Brown, Christy’s Garden is dedicated to the Health and Harmony of the community and providing a space to make the arts more accessible. A place for reflection on our overall health - interconnections needed for a balanced healthy community are more than the absence of disease - we must thrive in making decisions through the lens of health for better physical, mental and social health.
Nestled between Old Forester’s Paristown Hall and The Café, Christy's Garden is a 5,000 sq. ft. artificial lawn that includes a fully powered amphitheater, outdoor bar and concession stand, overhead and in-ground lighting, comfortable benches, Louisville Pure Tap water fountains, a giant projector screen attached to the side of Old Forester's Paristown Hall, and infrastructure for the addition of large scale sound systems and production equipment. This unique outdoor venue is the home for numerous outdoor events, concerts, and gatherings.
