Empowering Community

ArtsReach nurtures and develops diverse artists and audiences, engages youth, creates community through the arts and through professional development empowers community centers to program the arts.

ArtsReach Studio

ArtsReach Studio offers ongoing arts instruction with professional artists in Suzuki violin, African percussion, visual art, and dance. Students receive an average of three hours of instruction per week and participate in special residency workshops with guest artists. Participants learn new skills, expand their horizons and develop a sense of self, well-being and belonging. As the individual is empowered, the arts simultaneously build and strengthen the community. Dance, percussion, and violin students perform in the annual events.

For more information about studio class enrollment call (502) 566-5254. The ArtsReach Jewelry Making Studio is a drop-in studio for all ages. Artist in residence, Gwendolyn Kelly, and other studio regulars will assist newcomers. The studio is located at the Russell New Directions Learning Center at 1718 W Muhammad Ali Blvd. The entrance is on 17th Street & Madison on street level. Parking is available on street or in lot. Studio is open each Friday from 3:00-7:00 PM.
