NOTE: GSA has several virtual info sessions throughout the fall. However, any educator, counselor, or organization can request a private virtual session for their students. These requests are reviewed on a rolling basis, and due to administrative constraints, GSA cannot promise to fulfill them all. Please complete THIS FORM to request a virtual info session.

GSA 2022 Application Timeline and Virtual Info Session Dates

 

Every virtual info session is free, but registration will be required! Registration information for the adjudicator webinars will be provided soon. Each session will be recorded and made available on this page with 3-5 days of the session.

 

October 6th- Virtual Info Session: GSA 101! 

  • An overview of GSA’s summer program and the application process.

October 13th -Virtual Info Session: What’s an Applicant Guide?!

  • 5:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. CT
  • An overview of these important documents and how applicants can use them to submit the strongest application possible.

November 3rd- Virtual Info Session: GSA Application Walk-through!

  • 5:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. CT
  • A step-by-step review of what it’s like to complete a GSA application.

 

November through December – Virtual Info Sessions: Meet Your Faculty!

  • Conversations with faculty members in each art form about what they’re looking for in GSA applicants. Q&A included; each session will be recorded and made available here afterward. Free, but registration will be required!

December 1st Virtual Info Session: GSA 101! 

  • 5:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. CT
  • An overview of GSA’s summer program and the application process.

December 15th – Virtual Info Session: Open Q&A!

  • 5:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. CT
  • A final opportunity to ask questions via webinar (but remember you can contact GSA anytime at [email protected]).

January 9th, 2022 - GSA 2022 Application due by 11:59 p.m.

  • Applicants are encouraged to upload their applications before this date; GSA offices will not be staffed over the weekend and we will not be accessible to answer questions after January 7th .

February 18th - GSA 2022 Finalists Announced

  • All applicants will be notified of whether they have advanced to the final round of adjudication.

March 18th & 19th - Final Round Auditions & Reviews

  • Currently, we anticipate the Final Round Auditions and Reviews to take place in person at The University of Kentucky in Lexington. More information to come.

Friday, April 15th - Announcement of GSA 2022 Accepted Students and Alternates

  • All Finalists will be notified of whether they have been accepted into the summer program. A list of alternates will also be announced.

Mid June -Mid July: GSA 2022 Summer Program at the University of Kentucky (Lexington, KY)
