ON-CAMPUS PARKING OVERVIEW

Parking is limited and monitored on UK’s campus. Please read the following instructions carefully and obey all parking signs when on campus. Make plans ahead and allot time to find a parking spot.  You will likely have a 5 to 10 minute walk from your parking spot to GSA Registration.

There is a semi-circle drive in front of Singletary Center for the Arts (405 Rose Street, Lexington, KY 40508), where registration will take place. This is an optimal DROP OFF spot for students, large instruments, and/or anyone who may have difficulty walking prior to parking your car.

Parking for Friday, March 15th

If you park on campus prior to 3:30pm ET on Friday, March 15th, GSA has reserved a free parking lot off of Linden Walk between Euclid Avenue and Rose Lane (outlined in red in the map below). There will be a parking attendant there confirming you are there for GSA auditions. The map below will direct you to this parking lot. This parking lot is within walking distance of the Singletary Center (starred in the map below), where registration for auditions/reviews will take place.

Campus2

If you park on campus after 3:30pm ET on Friday, March 15th or any time on Saturday, March 16th, campus parking is generally open. With only a few exceptions, you may park for free in employee and student lots any time after 3:30pm ET on Friday. For the shortest walk, we recommend the parking lots located on Linden Walk between Euclid Avenue and Rose Lane or the parking lots behind Memorial Coliseum (accessible from Rose Street or Lexington Avenue). The lots are shaded in blue on the map below.
