KARA SWISHER is host of On with Kara Swisher and co-host of Pivot. She’s editor-at-large at New York Magazine and a CNN contributor, where she hosted the series Kara Swisher Wants to Live Forever. Her New York Times–bestselling Burn Book: A Tech Love Story is an inside look at modern Silicon Valley and the biggest boom in wealth creation in the history of the world. Part memoir, part history, Burn Book is a necessary chronicle of tech’s most powerful players. Swisher has interviewed everyone who matters in tech over three decades, right when they presided over an explosion of innovations that has both helped and hurt our world. She calls upon the industry to make better, more thoughtful choices, even as a new set of powerful AI tools are poised to change the world yet again. Swisher was the cofounder and editor-at-large of the technology website Recode and co-executive producer of the Code conference. She is a former contributing opinion writer for The New York Times and has also worked for The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post. 

SCOTT TUROW is the author of fourteen works of fiction, including Presumed Innocent and most recently, Presumed Guilty, all New York Times bestsellers. He has written two non-fiction books—One L, about his experience as a law student, and Ultimate Punishment, a reflection on the death penalty. His books have been translated into multiple languages, have sold more than thirty million copies worldwide, and have won many literary awards. His writing has been adapted for film, stage and television. Turow served as president of the Authors Guild, and he has joined with publishers in legal action concerning use of copyrighted materials to train AI models.
